Details:
An outcome of the Casey District Development Forum was that Committee’s wanted more skills to be better equipped to support scouting.

Therefore Casey District & Cardinia District will be offering a joint Group Committee Training Day at Harkaway Scout Campsite, Chadwick Road Harkaway;

During the day we will cover:

Scouting & its Structure;
Group Committees;
Roles and Functions of Group Committees;
Running a Good Meeting;
Group Committee Issues;
The day will include both theory and practical sessions, and the options to speak to a range of people with Scouting experience.

Lunch will be provided;

RSVP will be required to dldv.casey@vicscouts.asn.au by the 19th September 2014.
